Begin by lying down with your hands crossed over your chest, your knees raised and bent your feet on the ground. Then sit up, being sure to keep your spine as straight as possible at all times.
A beneficial exercise for relieving sciatic nerve pain is to lie on your back on a flat surface, relax and take a deep breath. Slowly raise your upper body off the floor. Hold this position for as long as you are comfortable. Then, as you exhale, lower your body back to the floor. Relax for a moment and repeat the exercise.
Gentle exercise can help relieve back and leg pain. The following exercise can be very helpful! Lie on your stomach with your legs extended straight. Lift one leg from the hip joint (don’t strain); bending at the knee, bring the lower leg to the upper leg. Hold this position for 10 seconds. Release the bend and lower the leg. Repeat move with the other leg.

You’ll get the best results by doing these exercises at least once in the morning and once at night.
