Don’t think it can work? You’re telling me that you’re already running so far over 100% that sleeping is low down your priority list, and you’re dog tired every day? Well, that’s an even bigger reason to get active. As you’ll see, exercise, particularly regular aerobic exercise, can boost your health, well being and mood literally in a matter of minutes. Rather than losing your energy completely, exercise actually boosts your energy levels. As exercising helps burn off excess calories and helps you lose weight, it won’t make you tired. In fact the opposite is true, following a regular stretching and strengthening exercise program can make you feel much more alert, alive and energized – and as exercise helps improve your sleep patterns, you’re likely to find that you feel more rested even when you spend fewer hours in bed.
